Kate Claxton - Author
Kate is an award-winning children's author living in Swindon, UK.
​
Originally from Northamptonshire, Kate went on to study for her BA (Hons) in Media Production at Coventry University. She has enjoyed a creative career in photography and theatre marketing since graduating in 2009.
​
Although writing has always played a part in her previous roles, it was the birth of her daughter that turned Kate's attention (and joy) to children's books.
​
Kate hopes to use her travel experiences and vivid imagination to write children's books set all around the world.

Angela Mayers - Illustrator

Angela is an award-winning illustrator based in Market Harborough, having graduated from Loughborough University with a BA (Hons) in Illustration in 2010.
​
Angela works with a variety of clients in children's and ladies print design and illustrates custom commissions alongside her work on children's books.
​
Angela works with materials like inks, dip pens, watercolours and markers to create a fun, tactile and expressive style. She enjoys adding elements of pattern to her work and is inspired by fashion and mid-century work.
​
When she's not working, Angela is busy renovating an old Victorian house with her partner and one very cute golden doodle!

Amber Orozco - Illustrator
Amber is an illustrator and animator based in Boston, MA, USA.
Amber has a strong love for colour and adventure! Movies are her favourite form of entertainment and so drawing expressive characters to tell a story is her favourite way to get creative!

Amber describes her style as a playful version of reality. She blends the ideas of fantasy existing in real life so that things appear brighter and more fun.

Nicole Hunstone - Publicist

Nicole is a freelance publicist based in London.
​
Nicole has worked in event marketing and publicity for over 10 years and has an excitingly vast amount of experience in helping arts and entertainment providers tell their story.
​
When she's not busy working, Nicole will most likely be found in a West End theatre, singing along to musicals and sobbing along to dramas.
